Exciting News! KindNest Has Been Nominated by 100 People Who Care Connecting in Clio!

We have some exciting news to share with our KindNest community!

KindNest Project has been selected as one of three nominated organizations for the November 9th meeting of 100 People Who Care Connecting in Clio!

We are incredibly grateful to be recognized alongside two other organizations that are making a meaningful difference in the lives of families throughout Michigan.

For a growing nonprofit like KindNest, opportunities like this mean so much. They allow us to share our mission, connect with people who care about their communities, and introduce more families to the resources and support available to them.

What Is 100 People Who Care Connecting in Clio?

100 People Who Care Connecting in Clio is a community-focused giving group that brings people together to support nonprofit organizations and charitable causes making a difference in the area.

Through its meetings, the group provides opportunities for local organizations to share their missions and for community members to come together around meaningful causes.

We are honored that KindNest has been nominated for consideration at the group's upcoming November 9th meeting.

Meet the Three Nominated Organizations

This month's nominations highlight three organizations working to bring hope, comfort, and practical support to families.

Christmas in Clio

Christmas in Clio helps bring holiday joy to families in need throughout Clio, Michigan. This year's Christmas event is scheduled for December 11th and 12th at Bella Venues, with a mission to make the holiday season a little brighter for local families.

A Kid Again

A Kid Again supports families raising children with life-threatening medical conditions. Through year-round, cost-free adventures and experiences, the organization creates opportunities for children and their families to enjoy time together away from the stress of medical treatments and hospital visits.

KindNest Project

KindNest is a family-support nonprofit serving Flint and Genesee County. We provide essential baby and children's supplies, diapers, wipes, care packages, and practical resources to help mothers, caregivers, and families navigating challenging seasons.

Although each organization has a different mission, we share something important: a commitment to supporting families and strengthening our communities.

Why This Nomination Means So Much to KindNest

At KindNest, we believe that every family deserves access to basic necessities, helpful resources, and a community that cares.

For some families, that means receiving diapers or wipes when money is tight.

For others, it means finding baby clothing, children's essentials, or guidance toward community assistance programs.

And sometimes, it simply means knowing that someone is willing to listen and help them figure out where to start.

Our work is about more than providing supplies. It is about helping families feel supported during some of life's most challenging moments.

Being nominated gives us another opportunity to share that message with our community.

It also reminds us how important local connections are. When neighbors, nonprofits, businesses, and community members come together, we can accomplish things that would be difficult to do alone.

Growing Through Community Support

KindNest continues to grow because of people who believe in our mission.

Every donation, shared resource, volunteer contribution, community partnership, and encouraging message helps us move forward.

As we look toward the future, we hope to continue expanding the ways we support families throughout Flint and Genesee County.

We know there are families who could use a little extra help, and we want to keep finding ways to reach them.

Opportunities like this nomination help bring awareness to those needs and the importance of supporting local nonprofits.

Thank You for Believing in Our Mission

We want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to 100 People Who Care Connecting in Clio for including KindNest among the November 9th nominees.

We are also grateful to the individuals who nominated us and to everyone who continues to support the work we do.

Congratulations to Christmas in Clio and A Kid Again! We are honored to be recognized alongside organizations doing such meaningful work.

Regardless of the outcome of the upcoming meeting, we are thankful for the opportunity to share KindNest's mission and connect with people who care about helping families.
